Christina Baird

Christina Baird has spent her career leveraging design and photography to communicate. Raised by photojournalists, she picked up the camera at an early age to document life around her, and she now follows in the footsteps of her family. The joy of interacting with people and capturing life’s smallest and greatest moments is what held photography at the forefront of her life. She eventually earned a BS in Photojournalism from Ohio University in 2006. Returning to Ohio University hoping to gain broader tools as a storyteller, Christina studied interactive multimedia and earned her MA in 2012. Her work has been published in the AP, St. Petersburg Times, NPR, and used as curriculum at MIT. She currently works as a web designer at the Urban Institute where she translates complex data analysis into interactive presentations.
